hello lace members,
i just ordered some crochet hooks in sizes 11/12,12,13/14,,14,15, and
16 from the needle point joint (i think thats the correct name of the
company), and i started a crochet project in size 50 thread with the
size 12 hook. it is going along fine. i was really happy to find the
smaller size needles. you cant find those sizes at walmart. i was a
little disappointed that the size 11 and 13 couldn't be bought unless
they were in half sizes or between sizes, but i am looking for another
11 and 13 that comes exactly as it is, and i hope i will find it.
does anyone know of any crochet patterns that are available for crochet
in the smaller sizes, and especially the size 16? crochet lace is hard
to find in that size. i know any pattern can be adjusted by using the
correct size needle with the correct size thread, but for collar and
cuff patterns it would require a specified pattern. i am especially
looking for collars, cuffs, gloves, purses, and any lacy wearable
pattern. i don't want filet crochet patterns that are made by using
blocks.
a lot of foreign countries around the world, especially in europe and
in russian countries have patterns or pattern companies. i have seen
many of the crochetted lace items from there, and i was hoping to find
some addresses where i might be able to write to for them. if anyone
has heard of such a company please write. thank you.
