We have a wonderful little fair, Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, WA. Our lace group has been demonstrating lacemaking there for the past few years and now have "bobbin lace" categories.
I looked at what I have made recently and took 3 entries, not that I think my lace is spectacular, but to support the new bobbin lace category. I also felt that if I entered something simple, others might be encouraged. I'm looking forward to seeing my things on display with my name attached, I will take a picture for my "lace brag book" I'm thinking about what I want to make to enter next year, it's fun!
