Further to my discussions with Bev in Sooke about how some (narrow) pieces of BL want to torque or twist when the pins are removed I'd like to collect together as many of your observations as possible.
If anyone has made, (and still has available!), a beginners snake - the one in Christine Springett's book or similar - would you please have a look at it and tell me:
1, Does it want to curl around itself? 2, Did you use cloth stitch, cloth stitch with veins or half-stitch? 3, Which thread did you use?
All observations gratefully received, and I'll tell you the results and whether or not it concurs with my theory in a few days time.
