Jane, I was in Hawaii in June. While I didn't exhaust the tourist sites, by any means, the only lace that I saw was on the top floor of the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. In their section on immigrant cultures there was a bobbin lace pillow and if I remember correctly, a few articles of clothing may have had some very simple edgings. It was an interesting museum with a lot of Pacific history and artifacts. If you choose to visit it, visit for that reason. There wasn't enough lace or anything special enough to make it worth a visit for lace purposes only, although finding lace there was a nice surprise.
