I'd like to clarify this. A number of lace suppliers put together nice beginner's kits. However, some general craft or needlework stores/dealers carry the horror kit I described in my longer post. A kit from a lace supplier should be just fine, but stay away from kits sold by non-specialists (although I hear Halcyon yarns in the US has put together a decent kit). Robin P.
