Added to which, there are some husbands who don't play golf, and wouldn't dream of spending that amount of money just on themselves, over however long a period. I know - I have one! But he has never begrudged me my hobbies, and was always very supportive of me taking off for a weekend or two every year, at a residential college, to indulge my hobbies!
