What belonged this piece I am wondering about the time mentioned 18th century. Burano was mostly made in 19th cent and beginning of 20th. Because Burano is very similar to Alencon it is difficult to say which is which. The relief in Alecon is made by buttonhole- stitches in Burano with a thick thread. The design seems to be from 19th century it isn't a rich one.
