Dianna, I have been accused of Tatting also, as I demonstrate Babbin Lace. I just say, "Oh, you want to see tatting?" and pull out my tatting shuttle. Still educating the public.....

So many times, at demos, folks will confuse tatting with crochet or bobbin lace. I have had it also confused with drop spindle spinning (amazingly enough)! So no offense.
