Has anyone else been having problems posting to AOL addresses?
Everything else on my system is working fine, but each time I post to an AOL address (UK or USA) I get a message from the AOL postmaster saying that the message has been delayed and that they will try re-sending every four hours for the next five days!
I have contacted my ISP again; a few days ago he thought that it was just a case of AOL turning up their security filters too high, but it's still happening.
This has suddenly become a bit of a problem as I have received a couple of applications to join the next round of Secret Pals from people with AOL. I can include you in the next round, but I can't send you the info about who you will be sending to until this problem is resolved. For obvious reasons I can't post to you via arachne!
So, I'll work on the pairings over the weekend, and if the problem isn't sorted by Monday I'll contact you by s-mail with the details of the person you will be sending to, but that will take a few days as both the people concerned are in USA and I'm in UK. I will try my hardest to ensure that you are not paired with anyone you've had in previous rounds. It's likely that each of these people will be sending to either UK or Australia.
