Bev, I believe I know the one you are speaking of: but that is not the one I was referring to.
I 'dove' into the lace room and believe it or not found the pattern in about 30 seconds. The one I was referring to is "Rose Flower Pin" courtesy of Paulette Collerette. I am not sure what publication I got it from, maybe IOLI (a long time back). I believe Alice is talking about the same one. This one has 11 scallops, and yes half makes a good 'bud'. Alice, I will be offering it to my new Beginning Class. Last week I started 8-9 4-H girls and mothers on a course of lacemaking. Some of the older girls are into costuming particularly the 16 century. They do re-enactments etc. The whole family participates. Lorri Hands up, who has been searching through their files... <waves> I found it, says Bev. At least, I found what I thought Lorri meant, and her description reminded me of what I had seen recently from my files:- It is 'Gathered Flower' by Gil Dye, in Lace 87, pg. 31. There are 5 scallops per length. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
