Hi Joyce, I think the workshop at Montreal is going to be based on the new book by Ulrike as it is called point ground flowers. Here is my reply from Holly regarding the threads used. Of course, not having seen the book I am only guessing. Janice <Ulrike is doing the Point Ground Flower class and she is requiring Piper's 4/20 in black, white or ecru as the main thread. I think she is also using Piper's 90 Floss in colors but has not been specific about colors and quantity. Since I will not be selling in Montreal this year you would need to get the thread for this course in advance.
Twilling is the blending of several strands of 90 Floss in colors to achieve the color desired. It is the same technique she uses in her butterflies.> Janice Blair Crystal Lake, 50 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois, USA http://www.lacemakersofillinois.org/ - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
