I have been using Lace 2000 for a number of years now for my designs and I love the way they look more professional than my earlier line drawing patterns. I shudder when I look at those I did by hand as my hands are not steady when using a pen, pencil or paintbrush. I still don't use all the features of the program, such as levels, but I manage to make do. I usually work from a sketch of my design importing it into the background and using the various button features to add lines, converting them to dots, etc. Makes it real easy. I got a "hands on" demonstration from Sue Babbs which made it a lot easier for me to get started as I am not very computer literate. I remember that I did have problems with the Lace Publisher not saving my layouts for publishing so I have not used that in years. I vaguely remember in the beginning I had problems with patterns printing out larger than I wanted but that seems to have been sorted out. I have Version 1, Rev.1.4 and think that was the last upgrade to my knowledge which might have sorted out my problems. Still don't trust Publisher enough to use it. Did anyone else have that problem?
