I agree with you that Jane is a great teacher and very inspiring. I did a taster workshop with her about 10 years ago and went home with my fingers itching to get on and do more. The final outcome was a waistcoat (vest in US) and sweater. Jane was also the inspiration behind several logarithmic pieces too. Blogs at:

Jane said that Jana Novak's book had an interesting ending for a square piece of lace with a braid border. I've done the braid border on the top and sides and just can't figure out to braid in all the colored threads and hide them along the bottom.

So, my question is, can anyone explain it to me in writing or does anyone have a picture of this ending treatment that they can email me?

Jana Novak has written six or eight books - which one are you referring to? If it's one that I have on my shelves I'll gladly look it up for you.
