Not always :) I remember looking at a piece of lovely Chantilly edging
once with a friend. We were trying to determine whether it was hand- or
machine-made and started looking for mistakes. Sure enough, we found
them... the same mistake, in every repeat... :) Whoever programmed the
machine made the the mistake -- once -- and the machine then repeated
it ad nauseam.
