Jesurum lace is, indeed, rarely seen these days and the piece is beautiful. I've had a soft spot for Jesurum ever since I first saw it (photos) because it's bobbin lace, it's polychrome and it's 3-dimensional -- all my favourite things. The only non-favourite thing about it is the numbers of bobbins used -- you add and take out constantly.

Beth's pointing us to the E-bay site is timely vis the recent questions about lace in Venice. Jesurum still has a shop in Venice, or did, a year ago:

I doubt the lace sold there would still be of the quality it had been over a 100 yrs ago but they might have something interesting. I was unable to find their website, though; apparently they used to have one, but it had not been updated since '06. So, perhaps, the store is gone too.
