And I *still* haven't found the time to go a-scrounging, so wouldn't
have been included in your numbers :) *You bet* patterns are popular,
especially when they're free. Talk to any lacemaking magazine Editor
and ask them what they hear from their readers regarding the
contents... There are never enough *patterns*, however much appreciated
other kind of articles are. It's not that people will actually *make*
every pattern that's published... It's that patterns -- and the
challenges they offer -- are dreams, the same way that cosmetics are
dreams; we buy and file them, for that "one day"...
