Hello to One and All!

I've made a quilt for a customer using his Grandmothers hankies. The hankies were displayed as a skirt for a appliquéd lady. I just tacked and/or whipped stitched the hankies to the background fabric. Thereby preserving the lace.

Subject: [lace] Hankies

A friend of mine has just inherited 60 hankies and about 20 of them have very beautiful lace and/or embroidery. Does anyone have suggestions about how she could use or display them? (Besides their original purpose, that is :D )
