Hi The next Northern OIDFA Contact Day has been arranged for Saturday 25th October 2008 at Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham near Burnley BB12 8UA. From 10.30 to 3.30pm.
It will cost £10 and members will be able to look at some of the lace or other textiles in the Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth Collection. If you are able to come and want to see something in particular please let me know and I can make sure it is available. Members may bring a packed lunch or there is a National Trust Cafe. The Drive up to the Hall is called Stockbridge Drive and there are the brown tourist information signs for the Hall. It is not far from the M65.
