I would like to join in the Happy Birthday currently being sung to us! I joined in about 2000 so am really still a newby! A few weeks back someone sent a message to the list about the repeating of messages in replies and I sat on myself for a few days to ensure I didn't jump in on this as I often do!!!! Sorry!!! However Bev has raised it again and I would just like to support her plea not to repeat the whole of messages in your replies. I would also like to see some of the longer messages sent in a shorter version as sometimes they are just to long to plough through. In no way am I suggesting that they are not full of interesting and useful comment, just the old attention span gets a bit stretched at times. Just for some lace content, the New Zealand Lace Society had a lovely Annual General Meeting last weekend when 60 of us met in Palmerston North for lacemaking, chatting, traders, chatting, eating, chatting and even a small bit of formal business! It is so lovely to be part of such a wonderful group of ladies from throughout our country! Anyway, Happy Birthday to us all wherever we are!!
