I am not sure how long I have been on the list. Maybe a year or a little longer but not by much. I started off learning lace from a book and then eventually found a night class in bobbin lace which has helped me tremendously. I was in a Yahoo Freecycle group and decided to do a search for a lace group and found one there. As someone said there is not as much happening on that particular list so I decided just to do a general search on lace and Arachne was one of the suggestions that appeared. I tried a few times to join and just couldnt figure it out at all (I didnt address it as Dear Majordomo though :) ) I gave it up for a while and then tried again and eventually was successful. Still dont know what I did different that time! I lurked for a while just trying to work out some of the subjects talked about until I picked up the courage to ask a question myself. Now I do submit an email on a fairly regular basis. I am always very pleased with the answers I get and if I have forgotten to thank anyone for them I'm sorry and do so now. I am so glad I found Arachne!!
