A quick look in Threads for Lace, Lia's 250 silk is a 60 wrap, vs. the
Treenway 120/2 of 39 though the former is a 3-ply, if that helps any.
The Treenways at 39 w/cm would be rather fine for Lia's 250 den of
60/w/m
Six strands of anything are not six times wider than a single strand
because the strands will bunch up. Look at any of the stranded
embroidery cottons, a single has a w/cm about 2.5 times higher than the
w/cm of the complete thread. DMC, Anchor and Madeira are all 25 w/cm
for a single strand and 10 w/cm for the whole lot.
