Oh David it's simply breath taking - what an accomplishment! It's just incredible to have completed it in such a short space of time as it seems to take most lacemakers several years to complete this mat and worked in black thread too! My own little Point de Gaze parasol took me six years to complete, mind you, that did include the design process and having to 'put it on the back burner' many times during that period.
