I apologise for not shortening my last post, but it did generate a new digest as soon as I sent it. :-)
I also read the new "Laced" book last week in two days and that was not constant reading. It is very large print and a quick read. There was no indication as to how the lace was made that I saw, just the mention of the lacemaker and the tablecloth. As it was set in Ireland it could have been needle lace.
