If you try this with glossy pages, the layers of making up the paper can separate and you can get bubbles. This doesn't usually happen with cheaper matt paper. So not a good idea. Jean in Poole, Dorset, UK Yes, please do not do this on colored plates/pages, as it will minimally remove the glossy finish and smear. One says too much or not enough, but I hoped my comment about waxed paper on pics and prickings would indicate special treatment as per other moist forms of removing mildew/mold. Additionally, can we please cut most of the referenced copy when responding? Disconcerting and perhaps offensive to some to see one post be repeated at length several times in a digest.
