If you try this with glossy pages, the layers of making up the paper can 
separate and you can get bubbles. This doesn't usually happen with cheaper

Yes, please do not do this on colored plates/pages, as it will minimally
remove the glossy finish and smear.  One says too much or not enough, but I
hoped my comment about waxed paper on pics and prickings would indicate
special treatment as per other moist forms of removing mildew/mold.
Additionally, can we please cut most of the referenced copy when responding?
 Disconcerting and perhaps offensive to some to see one post be repeated at
length several times in a digest.  A real nightmare for those who are on
mobile devices and pay for services.
