Oh Jenny! I'm embarrassed now!! Are you sure I "suggested" that??
Because I don't do it myself - all my files just go in the Lace RXP folder!

BUT, I do have my weekly backup wizard set to backup Lace RXP as well as My
Documents. I'm so glad you patterns are safe.

And I do apologise for not telling you to backup your Favourites!!! I
didn't know you were going to have a computer crash - otherwise, I'm sure I
would've emailed you and told you what to back up - probably on that
non-functioning email address you had a couple of weeks ago!!! (VBG)
(Don't worry ladies, Jenny and I are friends and we can tease each other
without misinterpretation).

Subject: [lace] Thank you to Ruth Budge - Lace RXP representative

This is an unsolicited and heartfelt thank you ............

Thank you Ruth!

Some time ago I bought Lace 2000 from Ruth and she suggested I save my
Lace 2000 files in a folder in the My Documents rather than the default
folder in the Programs area suggested by the program .

I did and continued to do so when I migrated to Lace RXP.

That small idea was brilliant!! I had backed up My Documents and My
Photos just days before the computer crashed so all the lace patterns I
had drawn are safe. Saving me hours of time it would have taken to
reconstruct them. If I could have with my own originals.

So THANK YOU RUTH

Now if only Ruth had told me to backup my Favourites/Bookmarks - I
soooooo miss all those sites I had earmarked to go back to and explore
more fully. Oh, well, just have to do some surfing and find different
ones - 'cos you never seem to find the same ones twice :-) LOL

Hugs to Ruth
Jenny B
