Managed to get to Canterbury Oxfam bookstore and after I had left there were 23 books still in a pile near the back of the shop. I only bought 4, so a number of lacemakers must have got there before me. There was the Susan Thompson Honiton book and a couple of others along with Withof books and many English how to books.
While in a charity shop I did find the Larkrise to Candleford illustrated book for under £2 that has the illustration of a lacemaker on one page. I also had to buy a small suitcase to contain my books for taking home as mailing is prohibitive!!
