Hello
I have two travel pillows, both of which I love working with. One made from
a converted DIY electric drill case, great to work on but limited to narrow
edgings or small motifs. It had become very worn down from use and need to
be completely refurbished which I was able to do with the help of David
Turner of Church Meadow Crafts who kindly provided and cut to shape the new
blocks I needed.
The other which allows me to work more flexibly I purchased from Axel & Rina
Zijp, of Kleinhout, the case contains an internal lift out tray which is
basically a small block pillow of five moveable blocks - two square, one
half square and two longer thinner blocks. It means I can work a wider
variety of patterns and I love it, worth every Euro.
Hoping to see some of you in Tonder Denmark for the forthcoming Lace
Festival 4th-6th June, I will be there exhibiting Suffolk Lace, thank you
also to all those who have sent messages of encouragment since "the book"
was published last year, they've been greatly appreciated.
Nicky in a beautifully warm and sunny Suffolk......... at last!
