Did anybody mention Ken Van Dieren from Rochester, New York. I also know that Holly Van Sciver did bobbins too from Ithaca, New York. In less than two weeks away is Finger Lakes Lace Guild lacing weekend event. Holly always does a special bobbin for the event since she doesn't make alot of them anymore. Alot of money is raised for the lacing event just selling raffle tickets for the highly prized bobbin made by Holly. I am so lucky to have just one of her bobbins that was given to me as a gift.
Speaking of Fingerlakes Lace Guild Lacing event...who is coming to the event on the list here? I will be there. I am excited and will be taking a class on wire bobbinlace Jewelry.
