I have always wanted to see what those glass bobbins which Gertrude Whiting
illustrated on page 207 of her book Old Time toys and tools of needle work.
So I had one made for myself (at a price that was more than I expected and
could ill afford!)
Never mind........ I am delighted with it and you can see a picture of it at

I am feeling so pleased !!!! In time I will save up and get all 4 of
those she illustrates. It is good to have a goal.
