The first pieces that Queenie showed were edgings of Bedfordshire lace but
the piece she took from the basket was definitely Maltese - showing the tell
tale cross. On the pillow she had a nice Bucks Point edging in progress. It
was interesting that Queenie had two pillows - one bolster and the other
square!
I personally found it quite poignant when she was wrapping the pieces in
blue tissue to put away.
