Dear Arachneans I've just been having a conversation with one of my work colleagues about Coggeshall lace and she wants to know how it is done. I don't know enough about it to explain, even though I live very near to Coggeshall! Can anyone give me an simple explanation that a non-lacemaker could understand, please?
