Thank you to everyone who offered advice when I inadvertently put a
piece of lace through a hot wash. I dampened the lace and pinned it
back onto it's pricking. That was two weeks ago and tonight I felt
brave enough to take the pins out. I'm happy to report that it has
recovered its shape. So, just got 100 or so ends to sew in and my guest
room has a new mat for the bedside table.
