I did try to have one of my bobbin lace tapes transferred years ago professionally and they said I couldn't have it done without the written permission from the person holding the copywrite. I think if I could have the tapes copied I could really get going on getting off the bobbinlace slack I have been on and get back into it. I don't have a car to go to lace guild meetings anymore and I don't have someone that lives close to me to help me with the lace problem solving . So I have to depend on tapes and books to help me. It is like the Thistle bookmark pattern that I have on my pillow. Jean is very good in her book explaning how to go about doing the lace...but to see Christines' tapes again would also reinforce things in my brain which I could use the "inbrained" information to problem solve lace myself...maybe I could then get comfortable enough with bobbinlace to do it on my own without someone holding my hand or following a working diagram. As far as the Thistle Bookmark goes...I have been half way through it for some time now.
