I have a pattern that calls for DMC Machine Broder 50, which, if I remember right, is not made anymore.
I have a large spool of Coats & Clark's mercerized cotton sewing thread #50. The label says "for machine quilting and crafts"...made in Egypt. How does that compare? Could someone please point me to a chart of how threads compare? I had a chart at one time, but it has disappeared. Thanks.
