When you go to Ravelry and search "Bobbin Lace" you get 5 groups. The largest, Bobbin Lace Lovers has 414 members. There is a group for people who like Russian bobbin lace, one for the Minnesota Lace Society, one for Owen Sound Area Homespun Artists. Also one for fans of Malcolm Fielding There also seems to be one that doesn't come up when you search bobbin lace, called LACE, Lacers Always Creating Entanglements, devoted to tatters, needle, bobbin and other fine thread lacemakers with 1088 members. It is puzzling that this group which appears to be quite active doesn't come up on a search for bobbin lace, suggesting the search mechanism is not too good. A search of lace for the entire Ravelry site for lace brings up innumerable lace knitting and crocheting sites, but probably other lace modes as well that have been missed by the search engine. Devon
