Hi Arachnid Thank you to everyone who responded to my question about galoon, which can also be spelt galloon and galon. I knew the term can be used when the edges are not straight but was not sure if it can also be applied if the edges are straight. There have plenty of replies confirming that the edges can be straight, so I will go ahead and use it.
