Dear Avital, Last night I ran a 'test' on Arachne as Clay suggested the problem was html text, used when I am not typing from my webmail, but my computer mail. So the test was run, and the culprit is the html. It appears that plain text poses no problem. So that one is solved, too. I don't think I am the only one with this problem, I've seen it before, it's just that my fingers type more than some. And I was the one who thought of the rewrite. You suggested the signature line. Now if there were a way to automatically trim posts...
