Hi Sue and All!

We live off the grid, which means that we are our own water
and power company.  We use florescent bulbs in our lamps.  But the items that
get the most use are LED headlamps.  Energizer head lamps and you will find a
wide variety of them.  You wear them on your head and where you look is where
the light is.  I use mine all the time, not just for lacemaking but also for
knitting, crocheting, beading, sewing...you get the idea.  It's my main light
at night when I working on items.

There are also gooseneck lights that use
LED bulb assembly that are also really good.  But you have to find table space
for them.

Hugs,

Subject: [lace] Lighting
for lace making

My DH and I are talking about lighting and about LED
lighting in our motor
caravan and the conversation went on to include some of
the lamps we use in
the house.  In the evenings I always turn off the main
light and work my lace,
knit, read, watch tv or whatever else I might be doing
using my angle poise
lamp.
We are considering investigating to see if using
LED lamps in some places
might be better than the usual house lights.

Do any
of you have any experience with LED lights in your home, good or bad.
