Hi Arachnids, Having designed and worked my own balloon some time ago (I'll get around to putting it on the photo site some time) I just blow up a balloon inside the lace whenever I want to display it. Tie it closed and when I want to store it I just stick a pin in to deflate the balloon while holding it by the tied neck. So far the balloon has come out without any trouble. Just remember that the lace must be balloon shaped.
