I just read in The Times that when Prince George is christened in late October,
he will wear a christening robe of fine Honiton lace.  The robe will be a
handmade replica of the robe made in 1841 for the christening of Queen
Victoria's eldest daughter, Vicky.

Does anyone know who has been involved in making the lace and how they were
selected for such an honour?

Jill, in Milton Keynes
