Hackle pliers? Fly fishing shops. Look for the long narrow bobbin size ones not the short, fat and wide ones. Maybe not quite as elegant as your rosewood one but easy to find and probably less expensive.
Useful for all sorts of short thread situations. Mine originally was a gift from Tamara when this shape was only available in the US, and is much valued for both its use and the memory, but we can now get them here in the UK and I would imagine world wide.
