a bunch of my older "Lace" magazines yesterday and being they are not recent issues...it was like looking at a new issue of "Lace" . LOL. I had forgotten alot of stuff that was in the older issues. Like I saw the picture of the Binche Thistle again I was inquiring about last week...and I saw where fellow lacer Diana Blackburn made Miss Channer's Lace Mat and was the winner of the Val Gurney Trophy award. She did a small article how that that mat came to fruitation. There were alot of great patterns and alot of great articles. I also found it sad to read how many lacers have died and the stories of their lives. There seems to be so many lacers have gone on to Lace Heaven. I hope there are many younger lacers that have taken their place to carry on the knowledge of how to make lace and how rewarding a finish piece of lace can feel. I love the feel of touching my own finished lace pieces. So light and delicate they are...and they make my eyes smile at the beauty. Take out your old issue of your different lace magazines and see if you get lost like I did yesterday in LacingLand.
