I used this thread several years ago when I made an Alex Stillwell piece out
of her Geometric book, looked a bit like tipis to me around the square hanky
frame I made. The pattern was bucks point, so quite fine and in the early
part of the pattern i did have one or two problems with it pulling apart,
about the S or Z twist I think, or maybe at the beginning of the spool.
Once it had happened twice I was fairly careful with it and the piece worked
up nicely and after a hefty push from Elizabeth in Australia ;-) I actually
got it finished off and around the edge of my hanky.
Have fun Ann.

Whilst I haven't seen that brand of 60/2 Egyptian cotton I'm pretty sure it
will be fairly fine, and being 2 ply will work up into a soft lace which
drapes well, so suitable for clothing trim. Point ground, fine torchon,
Bedforshire - whatever your personal preference.
