I apologize for using the Arachne list for this, but I wanted to reach deserving knitters and I know that many on Arachne also knit non-lace items. I'm retrieving things from my parents' old house, before the "movers" come in to clean it out and haul everything off to a flea market or the dump. In the cedar chest I found 10 big skeins of "Spinnerin 4-ply Fisherman Yarn", each 100 grams/3.5 oz, "100% virgin wool, unscoured, undyed". It is a beautiful cream color. They are the old-style tied hanks. I don't want it to go off to the flea market where it's chancy whether it would be found by someone who would appreciate it. Therefore if someone on Arachne who knits wants it, they can have it all for the cost of my shipping it to them. Please reply to me privately -- first come, first served.
