Thank you to several people who advised me of ways to remove the oil stains off of the carpet, which is now clean and looking good.
Since then I had some dental work and have since found a small blood spot on the shoulder of a blue cotton blouse, so would things like vanish rubbed in remove it now it has dried on? Now for the lace content, I am going to be working on some bridal lace (ring pillow, garter, that kind of thing) in the coming year for two brides with an italian connection so I am wondering if there is anything special that might give it that little italian edge. I have no idea about Italian lace so any ideas would be helpful. I have experience of Torchon Lace, Beds, Bucks, tape/braid lace and a tiny bit of Milanese but not much else.
