Hi Janice: It is like a sampler, with the laces attached to a piece of cloth that is backed with another cloth. The backing cloth is turned to the front of the piece and stitched to form a protective edge, with the samples running across the pronkrol, inside the edges. As you thought, it is rolled up. There is a lovely little YouTube video of someone unrolling a miniature embroidered pronkrol - here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXbZkOQFndc <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXbZkOQFndc>
Hope this helps. Adele West Vancouver BC (west coast of Canada) > On May 8, 2015, at 11:31 AM, Janice Blair <jbl...@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > > Gom,On the website there is a mention of a "pronkrol". Is it to keep your sample laces on for show and tell? - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
