Never found the source of the bobbin lace angel on TatMan's blog, so I drafted out the pattern and would like to start to wind bobbins. But the question is, what size thread?
I drafted it at the same size as the picture on http://tat-man.net/blog/?p=1210. Approximately 3 inches tall. I changed it slightly into more of a tape lace once you get past the head. Using half stitch and cloth stitch for the head and face, and Hinojosa kernel stitch for the headband. Will probably use Hinojosa or Milanese braids for the body and wings. Figuring those out now.
