I think the idea of an Arachne table is a wonderful idea. Thanks to the group, I was able to find both of my lace teachers, and find a lace group to join.
Thanks to the group I have met fellow lace makers from Australia (we were both in England at the same time) and South Africa (he was visiting New York and thanks to Devon we were able to visit the lace collection of the Metropolitan). Of course I have also met lace makers from several different states, too. There is a connection through this group and you cannot get from Facebook.
