Hi Nancy An interesting thought. Sorry, I cannot help, the reference I came across was only to Mechlin. Since the areas in which the other laces were made are in close proximity to the Mechlin area it is very possible that they had the same attitude. Fortunately there are more prickings available for Valenciennes and Binche.
