Yes, it is perfect to use a publication's name, number and date when telling about the overall contents.
However, I a reminder that if you ever want to got to the Arachne archives to find information, when you start to write about a specific subject, it would be nice to remember to attend to changing the subject line to be more specific.  Example:  6 months from now, will you remember that Lace Magazine #169 contained information about gold and silver laces?  If you have an excellent memory, you will search for Gil Dye.  And if you are very good at saving information where you can quickly find it - you will print what she has written about the frogging panel at Hardwick Hall, and place it in your copy of her book: Surface Decoration in Silk and Metallic Thread.  Jeri Ames in Maine USA Lace and Embroidery Resource Center   - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
